Neighbor:
1) Who is the most influential person in your life and why?
My parents are the most influential because everything I have learned from them have made me who I am. They have taught me values, morals , and beliefs.
2) What is the last thing you read, heard, saw or encountered that made you reconsider your values or beliefs? Describe that moment and what you thought.
I was talking to a coworker and she mentioned her friend came to her for advice about what to do because she just found out she was pregnant. Her friend came to her struggling to decide whether or not to keep the baby. I asked her "what did you tell her?", she replied "keep the baby, babies are cute". I am pro-life but after hearing her reasoning for keeping the baby I've realized not every baby should be brought into the world. If someone is not ready to love their child no matter what the circumstance may be like a certain illness, transgender, or gay/lesbian they should not have kids. If a mother is not capable physically or mentally to raise a child they should not bring one to the world.
3) What or who is the most important thing in your life and why?
My family is the most important because everything I do I do to make them proud of me. I truly appreciate every effort and sacrifice they have made to make sure we have everything we need.
Cousin:
1) Who is the most influential person in your life and why?
My dad is the most influential person. He has struggled to support my family. He tries his best to always give us the best he can. My dad works many hours and he still finds time to talk about our day. He has taught right from wrong, but most importantly to always thank God for what he has given us.
2) What is the last thing you read, heard, saw or encountered that made you reconsider your values or beliefs? Describe that moment and what you thought.
I use to believe that racism was finally fading away because it wasn't really seen or heard of here. Until I heard Trump and his ideas/beliefs. It's scary to think that there are many people who are still convinced that one person is better then the next one because of their skin color. It's scary that he has many people supporting him and his ideas. Because they have always thought that way but now they have someone with power that is pretty much being their voice, someone who will back them up. I feel disgusted when I think that a person will torture and even kill someone else just because of their skin color.
3) What or who is the most important thing in your life and why?
My parents are most important to me. Because of them I am motivated to do better and be better in life. They motivate me to focus on what i most want to do.
