Part 1:

Driving down the street every night seeing the neighborhood kids playing and running outside wishing I was doing the same. We pull up to our little white house surrounded by colorful flowers all around, we pull up on the drive way to a big black gate. Walking into the house was the best feeling ever after being at school and at the babysitters house all day.  Seeing the white couches and my Barbie sitting on the coffee table in the middle of the living room makes me so happy. Throwing myself on the couch, and taking my shoes off, was probably one of the highlights of my day.

 Driving down the street. Seeing the neighborhood kids. Kids playing outside. Wishing I was doing the same. We pull up to our little white house. Surrounded by colorful flowers. We pull up on the drive way. To a big black gate. Walking into the house. Was the best feeling ever. After being at school all day. seeing the white couches. My Barbie sitting on the coffee table. Makes me so happy. Throwing myself on the couch. Taking off my shoes. Was the highlight of my day.

1.   The idea using words is as a writer you should know how to adjust your tone to catch your readers attention. Also, your tone should engage your reader and let the readers get the writers message by the kind of tone they set.

2.  The idea expressed using an image is a  man is shown being awaken by the tone that was being used, so this shows the tone that was being used was strong and forceful.  So the man was awaken by the serious tone. There is also a picture of them in a recording studio where he is recording and adjusting his tone and voice, so he could get the right tone for his potential  audience he is trying to reach.  Both words and visuals seem to be expressing the same things.
