Part 1

1.
I was blossoming into a new person as time went by. I was no longer watching television at home but rather being active and playing outside. The town was so small, there was not much to do but we made it work. The people there are so welcoming and everyone knows everyone. My schedule consisted of school, homework, and long bicycle rides to basketball in the evening. I have to say Minnesota was becoming home for me and I didn’t mind it one bit. I was so amazed that the kids in my school did not care about brands and no one really showed attention to what you wore. I felt like for once in my life I didn’t have to dress or act a certain way. The craziest thing of all was that the nearest mall to me was an hour away and oddly I was okay with it. I felt like a brand new person. I felt like I was myself.

1.
In the scene he is saying that in writing you must always change your style based on the audience or style so that the person who is reading it understands it better. Also being addressed is that changing ones way of writing when dealing with different subjects makes the person more credible.

2.
In the scene he is actually changing the way he looks to please his audience. In writing it sounds like he is saying one must change the format of writing to help the audience understand and believe what is bring read but in the picture it shows they guy changing into different personas to "fit" in. The visual has less to do with writing and more to do with the way he looks.
