Part 1:

Original - Out the gate I put on my earphones and debating on what should I hear. “Rock? Hip Hop? Indie Rock? I’ll just shuffle them around.” Walking down my street and having my music on full blast. Sadly, I can hear every dog barking at me. I don’t know why they bark at me, they see me every god damn day. House after house and every house has one or two annoying dogs that bark at everyone. I always take the same route to the metro station and I always see the same people, which I find very weird. The people by the liquor store are always looking at me as if I’m their worst enemy, yet they know who I am. They nod their head at me and I nod back and they ask if I have some spare change, which I do but it was for me. So I say “Nah man, I’m broke.” Every street corner curve are cracked and broken down. Trash all over the sidewalks and streets, but I like going through the nice streets. They have nice clean, cut grass and every corner curve look brand new. I mostly know every gang and crew around my neighborhood, and I know not to mess with them. Even if I have family members from those gangs. Yeah, I can tell them to have my back, but that’s like being in gang. I don’t want to be a part of something that can get me killed. Finally, I’m at the metro station.

Part 2 :

1. The idea of using words is making your words or sentence to somehow change the way you're speaking to the reader. Also, making the reader make comments can help you as a writer and improve your style of writing.

2. The idea of expressed using an image is showing how the way the character is shown. If they show no emotion with a loud captions, then the reader won't know how to take it in. Having the right image or expression can change the mood of the reader and they read it. 

The images and words do express the same thing. They show the characters emotion as they talk. The facial expression is the main purpose on how to read the caption. Without the expressions, some readers could be reader the story or caption in the wrong way.
